Is the glass 1/2 full or 1/2 empty?

One of my online friends who is using the same agency that we are has just gotten back from meeting her new son. She found out on June 20th that she’d be traveling July 2nd, then on
July 3rd they met their son. So, that would mean that at any given moment we are possibly 2 weeks away from meeting our daughter. That's what I call the glass is half-full way of looking at it. But, if you think that it is around 5 weeks between the end of trip one and the beginning of trip 2 then at any given moment we are no closer that 2 months away from bringing our daughter home. So, at best that would be September 9th at the very, very soonest. Whether I consider the glass half-full or half-empty depends on the time of day...
